Our Mission

The Career Champions Network, or CCN, was established in 2019 to help Madison Park Technical Vocational High School, located in the Roxbury neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts, achieve its potential.

It is an alliance of leaders from over 40 community, civic, business and labor organizations, with more continuing to join as members and allies.

Building Skills for the 21st Century

Madison Park is committed to training the future workforce for the Greater Boston labor market. This has become more critical than ever as “baby boomers” continue to retire from the workforce, leaving behind vacancies that are increasingly difficult to fill.

Employers throughout the region are desperately seeking well-trained replacement workers for those who are leaving the labor force, at the same time that new demand is developing for new jobs that are coming on-line, in a range of important industries including clean energy and biotech.

Compounding the challenge, the cost of living is very high in the region, making it difficult for employers to attract trained workers from elsewhere, and for our own home-grown talent to stay. Training our residents for high quality jobs will enable them to stay and fill these vacancies — key to the continued economic success of the region.

About Us

CCN envisions Madison Park as the hub of career technical education for students and adults in Boston, with state-of-the-art programs and opportunities for students.
